PCB control board for Candela Gentle Pro series handpieces, 20 / 22 / 24 mm DCD cryogen-cooled configuration. The board reads trigger and slider inputs, times the DCD cryogen spray against each pulse, and handles communication between the handpiece and the main system.

Why it fails: Heat cycling and connector wear degrade the board's traces and joints, producing dropped communication, mistimed cooling, and a handpiece that intermittently stops firing. Faults stay within this size group's board and do not carry across configurations.

    Shipping information

    Orders are normally dispatched within 1 to 3 business days after payment is confirmed. Delivery takes approximately 3 to 7 business days, depending on destination and customs clearance.

    Replace when: the handpiece fails to fire, returns a communication fault, or loses cooling control.

    Error codes: handpiece-related faults such as Error 15.1 on Candela GentleMax systems.

    Handling: anti-static precautions at all times. Do not attempt to clean or repair the board; electrostatic discharge can destroy it before installation.

    Skill level: Replacement must be performed by a trained service technician.

    Procedure: power the machine off fully and work at an anti-static station. Seat the board completely before reconnecting any harnesses.

    Safety: electrostatic discharge protection is mandatory. Do not power on until all connections are verified.

    Verify: confirm handpiece communication and cooling function before returning the system to service.
