Optical aperture lens for Candela Gentle Pro series handpieces, 24 mm Type 2. Precision-ground element that shapes the beam to a 24 mm treatment spot inside the fiber slider, setting the fluence profile delivered at the skin.

Why it fails: Scratches, pits, and burn marks scatter energy unevenly across the spot, so parts of the treatment area run hot while others fall short. Damage cannot be polished out without changing the lens geometry, so the element is replaced as a unit.

Three 24 mm lens types exist for this platform; confirm the fitted type against your slider before ordering.

    Shipping information

    Orders are normally dispatched within 1 to 3 business days after payment is confirmed. Delivery takes approximately 3 to 7 business days, depending on destination and customs clearance.

    Replace when: the lens surface shows scratches, chips, pitting, or burn marks, or output at this spot size drops while other sizes calibrate normally.

    Error codes: burned or dirty optical lenses are a listed cause of Error 6.1 calibration faults on Candela systems.

    Handling: hold optics by the edges only and clean with lens tissue and approved solvent, never a dry wipe. Fingerprints absorb laser energy and burn into the surface.

    Skill level: Replacement must be performed by a trained service technician.

    Procedure: power the system down and perform optics work in a clean, dust-controlled environment following the service manual.

    Safety: do not fire the laser with any beam path optic removed, marked, or unverified.

    Verify: output energy through calibration before returning the system to service.
